The principal interviews with Mel, Ian and Amanda Balsdon as well as my niece Lola were conducted on December 1st. These interviews were meant to give an insight into the basic information about lambing season and the attitudes of the family towards the season itself. There is the possibility of these being re-shot during the beginning weeks of January due to me having access to better audio recording equipment. I want to make sure this project is up to the highest standards and these re-shoots can aid in producing a more appealing and professional documentary.
The filming of the lambs and the daily routine of the Balsdon family at the start of lambing will take place 8th-10th January. This will serve as a way of showing the small workload in the early stages and when the shoot in March is completed there will hopefully be quite the strong contrast between the start and middle of lambing season when it comes to the work that is undertaken
